After counting sheep in sleep, finally here we are. A cold breeze immediately hugged me like a woman waiting for so long to her lover. This is where i have always wanted to be---at the top of a mountain, flying like dandelion's seeds, carrying a gentle wish. I arrived. Finally.

@dawnieroll ~ see you on twitter and instagram! Guess i’m getting a leave here. ;)

Personality test ftw.

“You desire a love that will last forever. You are quite serious about finding this kind of love, and that’s why you think carefully about the men you meet before deciding whether you could really love them. You don’t just develop a crush on someone overnight: you look at a person’s personality and other aspects of their life before deciding to form an attachment. If a guy doesn’t meet your expectations, you would rather be alone. Your love has to be perfect. Be careful though, you could be missing out on some worthy relationships because your standards are too high.”

Guess i have to agree.

In celebration of my blog’s second anniversary (which I missed, by the way), I’ll be giving away three of my precious books: Looking For Alaska by John Green, Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami, and Franny and Zooey by J.D Salinger to one lucky winner.
To join, just: follow kundiman and reblog this as many times as you desire.
Please be reminded that this is only open for people who live in the Philippines. I’ll announce the winner on 19th of June, 2012. Good luck! ;-)

My blog gets boring more each day and it has not been updated for quite long. The last time I posted a photo was when I was still in Boracay. But i’ve been to Hong Kong and Macau already to visit my uncle and tour my two cousins. I got four new books, too. Hmm, let’s just say i’m having a life outside tumblr but I got time to check  my dash every night. Also I got a job related to my field. I’m very happy and blessed. By the way, there will be no airplanes story anymore. I’m afraid.

abandonedmarionette’s questions:

1. What are your views about the afterlife? Do you think it exist or not and why?

I have always wondered the concept of afterlife, if it does exist or not. There were couple of times that i thought if i was somebody else before i was born or if the soul travels for forty days then goes to heaven for an eternal life. Some believe that when you die, you just die. It’s either you’ll be remembered or you will completely be forgotten. But in the Bible, it is said in Luke 23:43, “Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” And as for me, i’ll stick with that promise. ~

2. If you would be given the chance to be a Time Lord, would you want to be, given the consequences?

I think being a Time Lord is one of the coolest thing a person (or an extraterrestrial) could ever be. Well, who would not want to have the powers a Time Lord possesses? But considering the great consequences especially the regeneration, i don’t think i’m in. I want to be a temporary Time Lord if there is! Hahaha! ~

3. What book has made the greatest impact on your life?

Obviously, it’s the Bible. ~

4. Would you kill another person in order to save someone you love?

No. Not in the point of killing. ~

5. If you could know the answer to any question, besides “What is the meaning of life?”, what would it be?

“Who am I for him?” ~

6. Do you think immortality is a gift or a curse? Choose only one and explain.

Gift and i quote Paul Claudel who said that a man is a finite longing for infinite. The fact of having all the time in the world amazes me, like you could read all the books you want, you can study Medicine and Law after, you can do things without a rush, but of course, there would always be consequences because the people you love are not going to stay forever. ~

7. At this point of your life, can you honestly say that you are happy?

The only true thing about my feelings is that it changes all the time. Sometimes i can honestly say that i’m one happy girl then suddenly the wind blows and i’m the loneliest person ever. ~

8. What are the top 5 songs in your iPod/iTunes?

-With Everything by Hillsong
-Highway by Ingrid Michaelson
-Turning Tables by Adele
-Roll Over Me by The Autumn Film
-Rain by Patty Griffin

I have too many songs in my iTunes but those are the songs i am LSS with at this moment. ~

9. If you could be invisible for one day, what’s the first thing you would do?

Walk naked. LOL. ~

10. What advice can you give to the youth of today?

PBB TEENS? PBB TEENS? lol. You guys have a brighter future so don’t spoil it. ~

11. What was the biggest lie you ever said and to whom did you say it?

“Hindi ko alam kung gusto talaga kita. I find it hard for me to know kasi lagi kang nawawala tapos biglang babalik.” These are the exact words. Biggest lie, perhaps, because i know in myself that i do. A lot. I told it to J. ~

Thanks bernadette! I enjoyed your questions, though i find numbers 4 & 7 a little too hard. :)

And for those I will tag, here are my questions for you:

1. If you can read a poem of Pablo Neruda to someone, who would that be?
2. What are the books you want to read?
3. What can you say about the Lady Gaga’s concert protest?
4. And do you actually believe that she’s evil?
5. If you can go back to medieval life, who would you want to marry? A prince or a knight?
6. If God says, you should let him go, will you?
7. Are you a reader of A Song of Ice and Fire series or do you even watch GOT in HBO? (if you do, i’ll best friend you! Haha!)
8. If you have the power of teleportation, in what place will you go first?
9. If you can talk to a person from your past, what are you going to tell him?
10. What indie songs do you know?
11. What is your greatest fear and why is so? Explain.

Summer ‘12~ Boracay, Philippines

We met at the wrong time. That’s what I keep telling myself anyway. Maybe one day years from now, we’ll meet in a coffee shop in a far away city somewhere and we could give it another shot. So until then, i’ll just have to continue feeling this way everyday. Sad. — (via wordsthat-speak)
Yea, i love moo.

Yea, i love moo.

justinethegirl replied to your post: When I first feel that I’m falling in love with…

Sometimes, the more we pull them towards us, the more they struggle to let go.

I think you are right.

When I first feel that I’m falling in love with you, it scares the hell out of me. But now that your picture seems like fading, that I’m not constantly thinking of you anymore and that i’m slowly forgetting who we are when we are together, i’m completely terrified. What happened to us? Is this what you wish to happen? To let me go?
